DERM-FX PEN Micro-Meso Transdermal Penetration System
Micro-Meso Therapy is a treatment inspired by traditional mesotherapy. It replaces the old way of application of active ingredients, instead, microinjection is replaced by DERM-FX. Our new electronic transdermal penetration, which is safer, faster and more effective than older methods of Meso or Rollers.
Derm-Fx is our electronic micro needle mechanism that opens more than 1,000 micro channels per second in the skin. These cutaneous micro channels or “micro trauma” areas create an innate response on the organism that helps repair the skin.
SDERM-FX Micro-Meso is the most secure, hygienic, quick and effective transdermal penetration system of the market. The system is a multimodality approach that combines the most effective and potent serums available with the proven efficacy of micro needling.
This procedure can be combined with a variety of treatments from dermal filler, to wrinkle reducing injections as it is so minimally invasive and has little down time. If you are considering combining with other in clinician treatments we have, your nurse will be able to advise.
Most of the treatments we offer are aimed at causing damage to the collagen, for it to repair and regenerate. The more aggressive the treatment, the greater results. Mesotherapy is often used as a maintenance following more advanced treatments, or simply as a standalone
As with all treatment affecting collagen, a program is recommend based on solid clinical studies spanning many years. Some of our plans are an intense 4-6 weekly booking with 1-2 monthly maintenance ( with suitable skin care to support the new growth)
Patients can expect to see better results as they receive more treatments. With time, the results of mesotherapy get better and better.
Any patient who wishes to reduce, fine lines, and textural changes of the skin is suitable for this procedure. It also appeals to the patient who is looking for a natural approach to gently volumising the face and treating or reducing fine lines.
Those patients who purposefully expose their skin to UV damage, any condition that causes healing to be delayed or factors that can cause quicker collagen damage will not be suitable for this procedure. Your nurse will make a full assessment on your first appointment.
You will be given an information leaflet with full post procedure guidelines that must be adhered to. They are simple and easy to follow. The main risk is a potential risk of infection from touching the skin unnecessarily with soiled hands.
The puncture sites close very quickly, within 20 minutes and a serum is usually applied at the end of the procedure to help
The results are subtle, with gradual improvement in the injected area over a 3- to 5-week period. Full correction occurs at 4-7 weeks and can last as long as 18 months.
This cutting-edge rejuvenation is a quick 20-minute procedure. After 9 cm3 of blood (approximately 1 vial) is drawn from the patient, it is spun down in a centrifuge for 6 minutes at a pre-calculated speed to retrieve the most viable fibrin and platelets. After centrifugation, the platelet and fibrin component of the blood (the top layer) is extracted and reinjected into the area of concern.
Platelets play a role in stopping bleeding and in repairing damaged blood vessels and cells in the body. Platelets also contain substances called “growth factors” that activate and rejuvenate cells in our body. Unlike fillers that use various synthetic substances, PRP uses the patient’s natural biology to address skin defects and volume loss, triggering production of new cells and collagen formation.
This is discussed during a free consultation. A treatment is put together for each client, at which point cost is discussed. Treatment decisions are based on each patient’s individual needs and desired results. Medical micro-needling can be used in conjunction with other treatments.
Medical micro-needling is safe on all skin types and colors because the epidermis is not damaged during treatment. The chance of change in pigmentation or post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation is minimal. Skin micro-needling can be used on sensitive and fragile areas (eyes, neck, back of hands) that cannot be treated easily with other procedures. Micro-needling is not suitable for patients who have used certain medicine (Vitamin A based) within the last three months, have open wounds, cuts or abrasions, have had radiation skin treatment within the last year, are suffering from any skin infection, condition, or herpes simplex in the area of concern, are pregnant or breast feeding, have any history of keloid or hypertrophic scars or poor wound healing
AHA’s (glycolic Acid), retinol, acidic or “active” ingredients should not be used for 2-3 days after treatment to allow for maximum healing. Sun exposure is not recommended and sunscreen is encouraged.
No negative side effects result from micro-needling, and none have been seen in the more than 150,000 procedures that have been done worldwide.
Micro-needling can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks as needed. Collagen induction requires at least 3 treatments, while scar reduction requires between 3 and 6. 4 to 6 weeks should pass between one treatment and the next, and the number of treatments needed depends on individual cases. Micro-needling can be used on all parts of the body (neck, décolleté, arms, legs, etc). Usually results begin to appear after the first treatment.
Prior to the treatment, numbing cream can be applied to minimize pain that is felt during the procedure.
Medical Micro-needling is safe to use on all skin types and colors without risk of post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation.
Medical Micrneedling is known to improve many aspects of the skin including, but not limited to: improves skin texture and reduces the appearance of wrinkles, regenerates tissue, improves the appearance of scars, reduces the size of pores, and reduces the appearance of stretch marks.
Some of the known benefits of Medical Microneedling include: greatly improves topical cream effectiveness and penetration, stimulates blood circulation and collagen production, needles are non-allergenic, cost effective compared to other resurfacing procedures, works on all skin types, and can treat the scalp, face, and body, including skin around the eyes, mouth and neckHello.
Inflammation of the skin is very temporary and reduces greatly within a few hours. It may remain slightly pink for up to 48 hours after treatment. Using hyaluronic acid after the procedure can help reduce inflammation, and sunscreen can be used to protect the skin. Makeup use should be limited to mineral makeup.
It begins with cleaning and numbing the skin. A collagen-stimulating product, Vitamin C serum, and/or skin lightener is also used. A small pen with tiny needles is used to create tiny wounds in the skin. The speed and adjustability of the needles allows for more effective piercing and absorption of skin products. Vitamin-C serum or Hyaluronic acid are used after the procedure to hydrate, heal and protect the skin.
Most people will notice redness and mild swelling similar to slight sunburn for 24-48 hours and there may be slight pinpoint bleeding and/or bruising. Skin will be noticeably smoother and more radiant within a week or two. Full results will take a few months to appear.
Some of the conditions that Medical Microneedling is known to improve include: mild to moderate acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, skin texture and pore size, and stretch marks
The device slides along the skin and penetrates upper layers of the skin to a depth of up to 2mm to create tiny needle wounds. This signals the body to respond by producing collagen and elastin fibers. As a result, the skin becomes fuller, thus reducing the appearance of scars, lines, and wrinkles.
It is a skin treatment procedure that involves an electric skin-needling device. The device contains very fine needles. It is used during micro-needling procedures to break down old scar tissue and push skin cell generation. Cell production leads to the creation of new layers of elastin and collagen fiber and leads to improved blood flow in the skin.
